Tutoring Services & Booking

Scheduling & Payment

Tutoring services, once booked, are scheduled in advance. Payment is required prior to the session unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that schedules change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• 24+ hours’ notice: Full refund

• Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows: No refund

Supervision & Safety

For sessions involving minors: A parent or guardian must be present in the home or readily available during in-person or online sessions.

Tutoring services are educational in nature and focused on academic support.

Tutoring does not replace classroom instruction, counseling, or medical or psychological services.

Expectations & Conduct

We strive to create a respectful, supportive learning environment. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in a session being ended without a refund.

Academic Outcomes

While we are committed to providing high-quality, personalized instruction, academic results vary by student and specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the tutoring session provided. Retained Learning Co. is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text and materials, is the property of Retained Learning Co. and may not be used or reproduced without permission.

Governing Law

These policies are governed by the laws of the State of California.
